Hey, I'm Yilin. Welcome to my page!

I’m an interdisciplinary visual artist studying MSc in Science Media Production at Imperial College London.

Lately, I've been experimenting with new visual mediums in documentary filmmaking and radio production to create people-driven science stories. I am also the Magazine Designer for Imperial College London's science magazine - I,Science.

Magazine Design

How I use a mix of Affinity Publisher, Adobe InDesign and Procreate to create magazine layouts and covers. I am currently in the process of designing the I.Science 2025/2026 Issue.

A collection of hand drawn animations and post production I have done using Procreate Dream, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Audition/Premier Pro. I also mix audio of music and VoiceOver.

My love for the RGG/Yakuza games and cosplay made me co-create Yakuza Meets UK, a UK based gaming community with over 200 discord members.

'Best Adventurer' at Megacon Live London 2025

I won in the Best Adventurer category at the cosplay masquerade at Megacon London in January 2025 in my Malenia (Elden Ring) cosplay - here is the winning performance.
